Here are the Shooter of the Year Scores after the last scoring event.  This is an overall running total of ALL events shot by each shooter.  Only the ones listed in the SOY Rules are the ones being scored.  This is sheet show each shooter their running average for all shoots, and their SOY Average.  Beware there are some events that some are not eligible to shoot, i.e. NASP can only be done by the school, this event will be a stand alone event, but can be used by any NASP shoot for their score.  Shooters most shoot all four disciplines to compete for shoot of the year in any class.  Any questions please email us.  Spenser@LostArrowsArcherySchool.com

The Iowa Pro-Am was the first event for the SOY events.  Everyone had a great time, besides shooting on a very tough, maybe the most nerve racking event.  I will be tabulating everyones scores and updating the sight as I get them completed.  Results click here

MIDWEST SECTIONALS

25-26 Feb 2012 NFAA Membership

This is a split event, which means it will be held in three places at the same time.  It is your choice to shoot this event.  This event will be held at Baybridge Kansas, or Sioux Falls South Dakota, and Waltonians Archery club Toddville, iowa.   It is a indoor spot event. 29-1 April 2012 NFAA membership required

This is the National Indoor Championship, this event will be held in Louisville Kentucky.  This shoot is is huge three shooting lines running at the same time.  Contact NFAA 800-811-2331 for registration and line time.  Reservations are (502) 456-5050 Breckenridge Inn, Indiana.

23-24 June 2012 NFAA Outdoor Sectionals
NFAA Membership is required for this event.

25-26 June 2012 Kansas City Missouri/Coon Rapids Minnisota.  Midwest Outdoor Sectionals.  This is an outstanding opportunity for everyone that has never been to a Sectional event to try it out.  I hope everyone attends this shoot.  Shoot kicks off 8am with 28 feild targets on Saturday with a shotgun start.  Sunday kicks off 8am with 14 Hunter targets and 14 Animal targets.  Price $  (651) 462-1916 or (816) 505-9331.

1 July 2012  Nebraska State Field (F/H/A) This is the State Field Championship being held at TCA in Grand Island.  14 Field targets, 14 Hunter, and a Animal round.  Starts promptly at 8.


4 July 2012 This is a WEDNESDAY, so everyone should make it

This event will be held at Lost Arrow Archery School, this is is the traditional BBQ event.  LAAS will have the meat and buns, if you would like to bring a side dishes, fruit, drinks, coolers, anything special you like that would be great.  This will be a non-competitive event of a 3D course, Field/Hunter shoot, Target shoot, and a shoot off of milk jugs please bring any saved gallon milk jugs for the milk jug shoot.  Bring any chairs for extra seating. 

1 July 2012 Grand Island

This event happens only on this one day.  It is a field/hunter round of 14 Field targets, 14 Hunter targets, all know distances.

NFAA Membership required

This is a one day shoot this is a 900 round.  Which means 90 arrows at a 122cm target at know distances; the ranges will be cubs 10-20-30, youth 20-30-40, adult 40-50-60. This will also be held at Waltonian Archers  Results click here

16-17 July 2012 No membership required

This is a two day event, Target rounds at 40-50-60 yards will challenge your true target skills.  Event starts at 10am Sat on the practice football field in Ames.  Second day begins at 9 am with awards after event.  Google Iowa Games and find summer games and then you can register online. 20 June is the deadline for the $20 price, after that is it $5 more per person

July 2012 No membership required

This is a one time 3D event, this event is held on the Issac Walton shooting range bythe horse stables in Ames.  40 targets and random distances. Google Iowa Games and find summer games and then you can register online.  June 20 is the deadline for registration after that it will be $5 more.

25-29 July 2012 Outdoor Nationals

NFAA Field Championship Membership required This is the Field Nationals Hunter, Field, and Animal rounds. Price is $85 adults, $70 youth. Family $250.

8-11 August 2012  Seven Springs PA,

 this it the biggest 3D tournament. 20 targets each day, on the side of a ski resort. The toughest range that can be made.
